The Family Medicine Center has its roots in the building that housed a large multispecialty clinic dating back over thirty years and was the practice site of Dr. HD Pope, one of our founding faculty. Today the building houses only family physicians – a group practice, a solo practitioner, and our own Family Medicine Center.
The Center serves the needs of thousands of patients representing every walk of life. The Center opened in 1996. We have 20 exam rooms plus 3 special procedure rooms including minor surgery, ultrasound and treadmill. We have over 15,000 square feet. The Center offers acute care, preventive care, procedural support for minor surgery, and full maternity care. We've recently opened our own lab allowing us to better serve our patient's needs. |
